As Maître d'Hôtel, you are the face of Le Bistrot Français, leading our service team with warmth, precision, and a commitment to excellence. Your role is to oversee all front-of-house operations, ensuring every guest enjoys a refined and personalized dining experience that reflects the highest standards of Relais & Châteaux. You will work closely with our culinary team, fostering collaboration and bringing our French-inspired hospitality vision to life.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Relations: Greet each guest with professionalism and warmth, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Address special ︃︁︆︅︁︂︃︇requests and manage VIP experiences with discretion.
Service Leadership: Coordinate and lead the front-of-house team, ensuring seamless, polished service that meets Relais & Châteaux standards.
Reservation Management: Oversee reservation systems to optimize table turnover while maintaining the ambiance and comfort of the dining room.
Staff Training & Development: Mentor and train waitstaff on service etiquette, French gastronomy knowledge, and wine pairings, ensuring a cohesive and highly skilled team.
Quality Control: Conduct quality checks throughout service, monitoring table presentation, guest satisfaction, and overall flow to ensure consistency in guest experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to coordinate timing, manage special requests, and ensure all details align with guest expectations.
Problem Solving: Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively, turning every interaction into a positive experience.
Ambassadorial Role: Represent Le Bistrot Français at industry events, networking functions, and media appearances, championing our dedication to luxury hospitality.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role, preferably in fine dining or luxury hospitality, with a background in French cuisine and Relais & Châteaux experience as a plus.
Knowledge & Passion: Extensive knowledge of French gastronomy, wine pairings, and upscale service protocols; a commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences.
Languages: Fluency in English and Romanian; proficiency in French is highly desirable.
Professional Demeanor: Exemplary communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a calm and approachable presence.
Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required to meet the needs of our guests.
