Working Student - Manufacturing Engineer

Your profile

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline
• Technical understanding of documentation;
• Align, and collaborate well with local key functions such as Technology, Sales, Quality, Production, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance;
• Ability to prioritize and to work under pressure;
• Switch between different tasks easily;
• Good knowledge working MS Office;
• Knowledge with 3D mechanical design software (ex.: Creo Elements Direct Modelling, Catia, NX, SolidEdge...) would be an advantage;
• Good command of the English language, German would be an advantage.

The team

Reporting to Engineering Manager, you will prepare, follow and improve required processes of new and existing products.

Your future responsibilities

• Analyzing the technical requirements for new sales inquires (sheetmetal, welded, painted and assembled components);
• Assist in the planning and execution of production projects.
• Support the department with administrative tasks such as scheduling, organizing files, and managing communications.
• Participate in on-set activities, including setting up equipment and ensuring smooth operations.
• Conduct research and gather information relevant to ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas to improve production processes.
