Tour guide - 1800 - 2200 EURO NET

What we need:

- Perform public/private tours as needed.
- Present, entertain, and engage large groups (up to 25 people) of people from all over the world
- Good time management and a high degree of organizational ability.
- Solid knowledge of local points of interest around taken trips
- Monitor the behavior of the group, especially when young children are in it and ensure everyone remains together and in compliance with the rules.
- Be willing to put own spin on tour points, such as making jokes and providing insightful commentary.
- Maintain a positive, professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Excellent English skills, other languages are a plus
- Excellent public speaking skills
- Dedication for travel


Your working hours as well as days will vary through the year. Our offer consists of a dynamic job with a dynamic young team, as every day you will meet new people and almost never the same people you've already met. We do not offer a standard corporate job from 9 am to 6 pm but rather a dynamic on the move job.

You will spend most of your working time on the move, and work indoors and outdoors.

Tasks:

You'll accompany our guests on driving or walking day tours
You'll escort tour groups around sites, sharing information ︃​︁︃︈​︁︁︈​︁︉︄about history, purpose, architecture or other points of interest

CHARACTERISTICS / QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in public speaking and speaking to large groups
- Exhibits an enthusiastic and welcoming demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
- Professional demeanor and conduct
- Ability to multi-task and retain information quickly
- Weekend, evening and holiday availability is required
- Bilingual candidates welcome
- Driver License ( will be considered a plus)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to speak in front of diverse groups of people.
- Highly dependable and reliable at all times.
