Senior QA Automation (Python) with Networking L1 expertise

Mandatory Skills Description:
o Overall QA background of 5+ years

o Understand various customer deployments and solutions across Physical Layer, FEC and MAC/IP.
o Hands-on working with high speed QSFP(quad small form factor pluggable) covering native and breakout line multi-rates including PAM4 and NRZ from 50G to 800G
o Fiber optics knowledge in term of attenuation, frequency, wavelength, connectors and power measurement for TX and Rx flows.
o System verification and debugging tests for high speed traffic load testing, system delay performance (jitter, skew)

o QA experience in Agile SCRUM team having a QA Automation role
o Python programming knowledge is preferred (other similar coding languages would be relevant) 1+ years

o Experience in performance, scale and convergence testing and analyzing performance-related issues and improving the performance and convergence at system level
o Ability to develop and publish solution validation document and test reports
o Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization: Product Management, Technical Marketing, Field Sales, Documentation and Development Team
o Highly motivated and self-driven
o Able to collaborate cross-functionally to meet challenging goals

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
o Product verification & testing into OSI stack lower Layers L1-L2 to generate alarms and errors, stress FEC logic, FCS and Preamble checks.
o Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware (vCenter, NSX), OpenStack and Linux OS variants such as Ubuntu, CentOS, KVM is a plus
o CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, other)
o JIRA/Confluence

Responsibilities:
o Work closely with development engineering, product management, and customer solution engineering team to test and validate features functionality and system test profiles for data center networks, network security and routing technologies.
o Develop test strategy, test topology and test plan to validate the features end-to-end at scale with network security considerations
o Understand various customer deployments and solutions across data center networks, security, routing and switching and validate customer profiles
o Execute test cases and validate the solution end-to-end and document the test results on performance, scale and security
o Collaborate with development team to translate software requirements into high-quality test automation suites
o Debug and troubleshoot complex issues and work closely with the engineering team on the failures and validate the fixes
o Develop automation for the end-to-end solution validation and integrate the automation for seamless validation
o Finding and alleviating architectural bottlenecks, providing solutions that truly help our customers achieving the same.
o Review customer deployments and customer-found issues and address any gaps in the test coverage
o Involve in customer deployments and customer escalations and help the customers to deploy in the customer environment
