Senior Accountant

• University or Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent, preferable if certified as a chartered accountant;
• 5-10 years' experience in the same role preferably in the large complex infrastructure sector or accounting firms
• Good knowledge of general accounting rules, Romanian Gaap, the knowledge of IAS/IFRS will be consider a plus;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel/PowerPoint), the knowledge of SAP will be consider a plus;
• Fluent in English;
• Excellent relational skills;Motivated to work in a multicultural and structured environment;

• Provide support on all accounting matters and in the preparation of the Group Reporting package and other reporting requests ︁︈​︁︉︁​︁︂︉​︂︄︁by HO;
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts, analyzing various transactions, and preparing monthly, quarterly or annual financial statements;
• Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations;
• Preparing financial analyses and reports and maintaining the general ledger;
• Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets and with annual audit preparations.
• Support the Tax Specialist in the preparation of the fiscal reports;
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned and reviewing journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy;
