Order Management Team Lead

• SAP SD Knowledge is must;
• Basic knowledge in MS Excel, MS Word, Handling Letter of credit;
• Basic understanding of Mathematics, like Unitary method, percentage calculation, basic calculation rules;
• Good communication skill, patience in handling customer requests;
• Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members;
• Competent in problem solving;
• Fluent spoken English;

• Responsible for entering import sales order in SAP as per information from sales;
• Co-ordinate & follow up with Plants ︃​︁︃︈​︁︇︀​︆︇for required readiness date, Transportation, Forwarder, Customer & Sales for smooth supply of materials;
• Create shipment bookings, check Bill of Lading and coordinate with customer, sales and forwarder for required shipment dates and solve various shipment related issues as and when required;
• Co-ordinate with sales and customer for payments and arrange for payment settlement for import orders and update Collection Management in SAP;
• Arrange & prepare import shipping documents required for clearing material and submit to banks;
• Analyze customer’s credit worthiness & apply Internal credit limit in SAP;
• Various reports & trouble shooting as part of the process.

• Process improvements:
  • Strive to continuously improve processes and reporting, challenging current processes and automating wherever possible;
  • Perform special projects to improve processes and reporting efficiencies in addition to projects requested by customers to support the business needs.

• Performance metrices:
  • Lead various accounting projects, including OPEX management, audits, settling reconciliation balances, and testing SOX controls;
  • Monitor benchmarking and tracking accounting performance metrics. Monitoring and meeting KPI’s across business units, communicating results and issues to appropriate levels. Partner with finance management teams to develop improvement plans. Advising new process metrices in line with industry standards.
