Candidatul Ideal

Part of Travelsoft Group, Travel Connection Technology is looking for a Software Engineer backend Java to work on an international project in collaboration with the company Orchestra in France, that is also part of Travelsoft Group.

The job is not available as a permanent remote position, so a potential candidate needs to be able to work at the office in Iași as well.

Skills and experience

You hold a Master degree from a top engineering school or a Master’s in computer science,
You have at least 2 years of experience as a Java developer,
You are proficient in object-oriented design and the Java language, which you have used in previous roles,
You have excellent communication skills and know how to adapt your message depending on your audience,
You are meticulous, organized, and able to make quick decisions while considering various constraints,
You have strong problem-solving skills and you are eager to take on ambitious projects and face new challenges daily,
You have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and you know how to take a step back and reflect on situations considering context.

Working closely with our teams in France, as part of a squad team of developers, you will be involved in ︁︃︅︈︂︈︁︉︆all phases of development, from feature specifications to production launch.

Your tasks will include :

Takes part in the design and take responsibility for the deployment and quality monitoring of the modules of our Orchestra platform
Integrates components into the platform's JEE applications
Interacts on a daily basis with the members of the team and the project managers as well as with quality and operations teams
Is a creative force to always seek the best functional and technical improvements

In an Agile environment, you will work with the following technologies and tools: Java 7, Java 8, Java 11, Java 17 and beyond, Struts2, Spring, SpringBoot, JavaScript, ReactJS, SQL, Rest API, WS Soap, Docker, JBoss/Wildfly, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, IntelliJ, JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Trello, Gitlab, Eclipse, and more.
